FIFO Resume Rewrite

Applied everywhere and heard nothing back? I'll rewrite your resume and show you how to get it read.

I'm PJ, I work in an underground mine. I'll rewrite your resume for one realistic entry-level role so your safety, reliability and real experience show up in the first 10 seconds. Then you get the exact call script and follow-up email I'd use to ring the agencies, because that's how I got in. $199 flat, back in 5 business days. Nothing made up.

Who it's for

This is for you if:

  • You've sent a stack of FIFO applications and heard nothing back
  • You've got real work experience (truck, loader, agi or water cart driving, hospo, warehouse, farming, labouring, civil, trades, ADF) but no idea how to make it read for site work
  • Your licences and tickets are buried on page 2
  • You're applying for "anything FIFO" and want to aim at something realistic
  • You'd rather pay once and have it done properly than keep guessing
Be straight about it

It's probably not for you if:

  • You want someone to invent experience or tickets. I won't.
  • You need visa or migration advice. That needs official sources.
  • You want a job guarantee. Nobody honest can give you one.
  • You just want to know what's wrong and fix it yourself. The $69 Teardown is the better fit.
What you get

Why the call script matters

Don't just mass-send resumes. Ring the recruitment agencies, talk to a real person, say you're keen, then send your resume straight after that call. That's how I got in. With the Rewrite and the Kit you get the script and the follow-up email with your details already in them.

Not ready yet? Grab the free 10-second resume check and see what someone skimming your resume looks for first.

The honest bit: No one can promise you a job, me included. Hiring is up to employers. What I can do is make sure your resume isn't the thing holding you back.
How it works

Five steps, mostly on me.

  1. Pick your option and pay. Secure card payment through Stripe. Takes a minute.
  2. Fill in the intake form. You land on it straight after paying. Upload your resume (or tell me about your work if you haven't got one), your tickets and the roles you're thinking about. About 10 minutes.
  3. I get to work. If something's unclear I'll email you one round of questions. The clock pauses until you reply.
  4. It lands in your inbox. Word and PDF, a short note on what I changed and why, plus your agency call script and follow-up email.
  5. Ask for changes, then ring. One round of changes within 14 days. Then ring the agencies with your script and send your resume straight after each call.

Turnaround

Teardown 3 business days, Rewrite 5, Kit 7. Counted from when I get your completed intake form.

I'm home on paternity leave until March 2027, so I'm working in short windows around a newborn. I'll always tell you straight if something's going to take longer.

How I work

I use writing tools to speed up the formatting and first drafts. Every resume gets read, checked and finished by me.

See the kind of thing you'll get

Here's a fictional example ("Jordan", four years warehouse and dispatch, applying for anything FIFO). Not a real client.

Before (top of resume)

Hard-working team player seeking new opportunities in the mining industry. Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.

After

Warehouse and logistics worker targeting FIFO stores and materials roles. Forklift (LF) high risk work licence, White Card, manual driver licence. Brisbane based, available for FIFO rosters including 2/1 and 8/6. Four years of rotating early starts, daily pre-start checks and stock control in a busy dispatch centre.

Nothing invented. Same person, same experience, aimed at one realistic role and put where it gets seen.

Who's doing it

Worker-side, from someone on site.

I'm PJ Adami, Gold Coast based. I fly out to work in an underground mine in Queensland, and I'm on the Emergency Response Team.

I work in an underground mine. I don't have a secret contact list, and I won't pretend to speak for employers. What I do know is what the job asks of you day to day: turning up fit for work, following procedure when you're tired, talking clearly on the radio, speaking up when something isn't right. That's what your resume needs to show, using things you've genuinely done.

Questions?

FAQ

No. Entry-level mining isn't about having a trade or 20 tickets. Current First Aid with CPR is the one I'd tell everyone to get. Past that, sites want to see you're safe, you follow procedures, you turn up on time and you're reliable. A lot of sites train you for the role you get.

It's the exact words I'd use to ring a recruitment or labour-hire agency: who you are, the role, where you fly from, your tickets and when you can start. With the Rewrite and the Kit I fill it in with your details, and you also get the follow-up email to send straight after the call. Don't just mass-send resumes. Ring, talk to a real person, say you're keen, then send it. That's how I got in.

Yeah, a lot. That goes right up the top, with the licence, the machine and how long you've done it. Plenty of people have it buried on page 2 under "other work".

Yeah, that's exactly who it's for. Most entry roles (utility, camp, TA, labour, stores, trainee operator) care about stuff you might already have: procedures, early starts, physical work, licences, reliability. I'll help you pick a realistic role and show that experience properly.

No. Everything on your resume has to be true and something you can talk about in an interview. Making things up can get you knocked back, or cause problems later on site.

One realistic pathway, based on your background and what you tell me in the intake form. If you're not sure, I'll suggest one and explain why. A resume aimed at one role reads a lot stronger than one aimed at "anything FIFO".

You get it in Word so you can tweak it. If you're seriously split between two different pathways (say utility and stores), the Application Kit is the better pick, and I can note what to swap for the second one.

That's fine. The intake form asks about your work history, tickets and licences, and I'll build it from that.

Teardown 3 business days, Rewrite 5, Kit 7, counted from when I get your completed intake form.

You get one round of changes within 14 days of delivery. If there's a real problem with the work, tell me and I'll fix it. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply. Full details on the refunds page.

If you change your mind before I start, yes, full refund. Once I've started, it depends on how much is done. If I can't deliver what's described, you get your money back. See refunds.

Buy a Teardown, and when it's delivered I'll email you a personal code worth $69 off the Rewrite or Kit. It's valid for 14 days from delivery. So the Teardown plus the Rewrite costs the same as the Rewrite on its own.

Your resume is only used to do your work. Files are deleted within 90 days of finishing unless you ask sooner. Leave out anything sensitive, like your licence numbers or date of birth. More in the privacy policy.

No. Get FIFO Ready is independent and not affiliated with any mine, mining company, recruiter or labour-hire firm.
